Our New Look

Yep, you’re still in the right place. Welcome to the new-look USO blog.

The new look comes amid several milestones: our 1,000^th post, which came last month, and our 1 millionth visitor, which should happen sometime in the next three weeks.

And speaking of new looks, the USO has recently expanded its video storytelling operation. Check out these two stories from the last few weeks, both originally published on USO.org.

First, Gold Star Father Don Blanchard talks about his cross-country ride to honor his son who was killed in Afghanistan:

The USO is opening a new location on March 9 on Marine Corps Base Quantico in Austin Hall, which was named after Medal of Honor recipient, Pvt. 1st Class Oscar P. Austin.

Soldiers in Vilseck, Germany Say 'Willkommen' to Cavalry Corner Rec Center, Thanks to USO and Partners

Thanks to donors like you, soldiers living on Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany can say "auf wiedersehen" to trekking 25 minutes to Grafenwoehr to enjoy free wi-fi and other recreational amenities, thanks to a new 24-hour facility opened by the 2d Cavalry Regiment, the USO and the American Red Cross.
