Christian Malerba
Christian joins the USO from Cheshire Academy, an independent boarding school in Connecticut. In his seven years with the institution he raised over two million dollars from individual donors and foundations. He played a key role in the school’s annual fund increase from $480,000 to $850,000 and total number of donors from 500 to over 1000 during his tenure. He has a strong passion for non-profits and takes pride in building long-lasting relationships with donors.
Christian attended the University of Connecticut and graduated with degrees in communications and sociology. He was a four-year varsity tennis player and co-captain his junior and senior seasons. He has been married to his wife Aimee for four years and is a loving father to his two-year old son Bradley and four-year old french bulldog Remy.
Christian’s grandfathers, as well as his wife’s grandfather are U.S. Military veterans, and his brother and sister-in-law serve as active military members in the U.S. Navy. Christian is passionate about supporting America’s military and is thrilled to join the USO team as a major gifts officer in the tri-state area.
