Jean first joined USO in 2008 as Executive Director for USO’s New England operation. In 2018 she joined the Major Gifts team and now works with donors in the Eastern US. With a passion and personal commitment for strengthening children, families and community, Jean has felt honored to engage with members of the military community over the years as well as those who support and honor their service. In the field, she worked to identify demographic needs, develop outreach strategies and built strategic donor and community partnerships. She provided leadership and tactical planning for staff and 175 volunteers, 4 USO centers, programs & special events for 32 military commands in 5 states and led the launch of 2 new USO centers. In her Major Gifts role, she draws on her experiences and insights from the field to share first-hand testimony of USO impact and works to ensure a sense of fulfillment and personal connection for each USO donor.

In addition to the joy of raising her son, Jean enjoys devoting time to educational & cultural enrichment efforts in her community, as well as public service as a school board member and as a library trustee. Prior to USO, she worked as a Director of Business Development in the HR outsourcing industry and as a Director of Client Services in the school transportation industry. She enjoys entertaining, travel, writing and gardening.
